Mumbai: Even as several celebrities-turned-politicians have been demanding a CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide case, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy has hired a lawyer to look into the matter.
As per reports, advocate Ishkaran Bhandari has been appointed by Subramanian to find out if a CBI probe can be demanded in the actor’s suicide case, which is getting more and more complicated.
Informing about the steps he is taking in the Sushant suicide case, Swamy tweeted: “Presently in the Sushant Rajput case, Ishkaran is looking to see if Sections 306 and/or 308 of India Penal Code read with Article 21 of the Constitution is applicable. That is, whether accepting the Police version of it being a suicide, was the Actor driven to it?”
Swamy even questioned the three Khans of Bollywood — Salman, Shah Rukh and Aamir — as to why they are silent on the tragic demise of Sushant.
“Are the three musketeers of Bollywood Salman Khan, Sharukh Khan and Aamir Khan silent on so-called suicide of Sushant Rajput ?” he wrote.
The BJP leader on Thursday announced that he had hired a lawyer to look into the case.
“I have asked Ishkaran to process Rajput alleged suicide matter for a possible CBI case or PIL or Criminal complaint case,” he tweeted.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra residence on June 14. Ever since his untimely death, fans and well-wishers, including several politicians, have been seeking a CBI probe.
