Bhubaneswar: Subrat Mohanty, a stenographer of CBI’s Anti-Corruption Branch in Bhubaneswar, will be receiving the prestigious Medal for Meritorious Service award on 74th Republic Day.
This medal is awarded to the police personnel every year on the occasion of Republic Day and Independence Day celebrations for their extraordinary contribution to police service.
Mohanty joined CBI, Chandigarh, as senior clerk steno in 2004 and has been posted in CBI, ACB, Bhubaneswar since July 2005. He is the first ministerial staff from CBI, Bhubaneswar, to receive this prestigious medal. He was also working here when it was adjudged as Best Branch of CBI in India for 2008 and 2011.
