Jharsuguda: Two more members of a family of five, which had attempted suicide at Lahandabuda in Jharsuguda district, succumbed during treatment at VIMSAR, Burla.
The elder son, Srikant Biswal (33) had died on Wednesday morning, while sister Pinki (31) breathed her last in the night and his mother Pushpabati (58) early on Thursday.
The condition of the other two sisters remains critical, the VIMSAR doctors told the media.
On Tuesday, Srikant, along with his mother and three sisters, tried to end their live by consuming phenyl following the death of his younger brother Deepak Biswal (22), who was bed-ridden for two year after sustaining critical injuries in an accident in 2018.
