Paradip: Fishermen apprehended an unidentified youth, around 72 nautical miles from Paradip coast in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district, for suspicious activity in sea.
According to sources, fishermen spotted the youth climbing on the fishing trawler in the middle of the sea and detained him. An ATM card was found in his possession. He reportedly spoke a language unknown to the fishermen. It is yet to be ascertained if the youth is a victim of a boat capsize in the sea or an intruder.
The fishermen are bringing him to the shore to hand him over to the local police. Coast Guard and the police are most likely to interrogate him over his actions.
