Swara Bhasker Gives It Back To Haters, Calls Her Husband A Non-Conservative Muslim

Mumbai: Actress Swara Bhasker, who tied the knot with student activist and NCP leader Fahad Ahmad last year, got trolled for her choice of wardrobe post marriage.

Memes of Swara wearing salwar-kameez with her head covered with dupatta started doing the rounds on social media.

Some pictures of Swara were juxtaposed with photos from her acting days and were captioned as before and after, suggesting the actress’ transformation into a ‘conservative Muslim bride’ post marriage.

However, this didn’t go down well with Swara, who took to her social media handle to give it back to trollers.

Sharing pictures of herself in western outfits, Swara wrote, “I didn’t realise my wardrobe choices post marriage are a national cyber debate (bizarre!).. Here are more pics of me post marriage to give Sanghi vermin more fodder for their dung.”

“Im sorry @FahadZirarAhmad doesn’t fit your stereotype of a conservative Muslim husband. Lol!” she added.

Swara Bhaskar and Fahad Ahmad walked down the aisle in February 2023. They were blessed with a baby girl in September this year. The couple named her Rabiya.
