Bhubaneswar: Taking advantage of the situation, Tata Motors took a jibe at Maruti Suzuki for failing in the Global NCAP crash test.
Tata posted a picture of a broken coffee mug with coffee beans lying around and wrote “We don’t break that easy”. The ad mentions Tiago’s 4-star Global NCAP Safety score.
Incidentally, most of Tata Motors’ cars have tested 4 stars and above for safety while Maruti’s Brezza is its only 4-star rated vehicle.
Maruti’s S-Presso scored zero points for adult occupant safety and 2 stars for child safety in the Global NCAP crash tests. Its bodyshell and footwell area were rated as unstable.
