Bhubaneswar: Odisha Mass Education Department has signed an MoU with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) for providing online education to students of Class IX and X for free.
“This programme will be implemented for 214 Adarsh Vidyalaya & 101 Utkarsh Vidyalaya,” informed Education Minister Samir Dash.
The students can avail the benefits of online class, homework, debates and quizzes. The TCS will also provide free training to the teachers for the same.
Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan Director Lingaraj Panda, Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan Advisor Dr Bijaya Kumar Sahoo and SME Additional Secretary Raghuram Iyer and OSEPA Joint Director Dr Sanatan Panda also attended the virtual conference.
