Bhubaneswar: The temperature started rising across Odisha amid a shallow to moderate fog that occurred some places in Keonjhar and Kalahandi on Tuesday morning.
Though there is no significant change in temperature, the minimum temperature slightly went up at many places over the districts of north interior Odisha and at one or two places over the south coastal parts of the state, the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar said.
While the highest maximum temperature of 34.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Titilagarh, the lowest minimum temperature of 14.6 degrees Celsius was recorded at Nabarangpur.
However, the MeT Centre said that the night temperature for the next three days is likely to fall by 2-3 degrees Celsius.
Shallow to moderate fog is likely to engulf many places in the Ganjam, Kandhamal, Koraput, and Kalahandi districts, while dense fog will probably occur in areas in Gajapati and Nayagarh.
