New Delhi: Air India on Friday suspended its flights to and from Israel’s Tel Aviv with immediate effect till August 8 amid escalating tensions in the Middle East.
The carrier will offer a one-time waiver on rescheduling and cancellation charges for affected passengers.
Air India generally operates four weekly flights on this route.
According to an update on the airline’s website, flights AI139 from Delhi to Tel Aviv and AI140 from Tel Aviv to Delhi on August 1 are cancelled. The airline will offer a one-time waiver on rescheduling and cancellation fees for affected passengers, and it expressed sincere regret for the inconvenience caused.
