New Delhi: Two bike-borne men smashed the window of a parked BMW in Bengaluru in broad daylight and stole Rs 13 lakh cash. The theft, which took place last Friday, was captured by a surveillance camera.
A case has been lodged in connection with the incident at the Sarjapur Police Station.
The video footage shows a man smashing the window of a BMW X5 car and gaining access while his accomplice waits on a motorcycle. They then flee the scene with the money that was inside the car. The car belonged to Babu, a resident of Anekal Taluk in Bengaluru, according to media reports.
The man climbs out soon, a packet in his hand. He gets on the bike and the two escape the spot. Police are looking for the accused.
