Berhampur : Miniature artist Satya Narayan Maharana is back with his new and smallest creation. Satya has carved the smallest ‘Shiva Linga’ and the smallest Shiva idol in stone. The Shiv Linga measures barely 2 mm and Shiva idol is 5 mm.
The man who has 25 world records to his name, has set his eyes on another world record with these art works. “I am hopeful of breaking my previous India Book of Records,” said Satya.
Satya carved ‘Shiv Linga’ to a height of 7 mm and Shiv idol to a height of 1.4 cm last year during 2021 to enter the India Book of Records.
Satya also carved the image of Lord Shiva in sand on the eve of Maha Shivratri and appealed for cessation of war between Russia and Ukraine. Peace must prevail in the world, said Satya. He used 8 tonnes of sand for the work.
