Nayagarh: At least three persons were injured, one of them seriously, in indiscriminate bomb blasts at different places in Nayagarh district late on Sunday.
According to available information, two miscreants came on a motorcycle and hurled bombs at different places at Komanda and nearby areas.
Following the bomb blasts, two youths were injured. Later, a pedestrian, who was passing through the Komanda road sustained critically injuries and was rushed to a local hospital for treatment.
On being informed by locals, a police team reached the spot and started investigation.
The exact reason behind the bomb hurling incident is not yet known. However, passersby suspect it to be the handiwork of some criminals to unleash fear among the residents.
