Three OSAP Jawans Sustain Severe Burn Injuries In Odisha’s Bhadrak

Bhadrak: Police admitted three jawans of the Odisha State Armed Police (OSAP) to the district headquarters hospital in Bhadrak after they sustained severe burn injuries on Sunday night.

According to reports, the three OSAP jawans Manoranjan Ghadei, Ganesh Nayak and Sangaram Tudu of the 5th Battalion at Baripada were on duty at the Purunabazar police station in Bhadrak. On Sunday night, they were sleeping near the storeroom inside the police station premises by lighting a mosquito mat. While they were in deep sleep, the fire from the mat caught their bed. As a result, they sustained severe burn injuries.

The three jawans were rushed to the district headquarters hospital where the condition of one of the jawans is said to be critical.
