Bhubaneswar: Three special facilities were launched on the campus of CSIR-Institute of Minerals & Materials Technology, Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
The facilities are: Common Research and Technology Development Hub (CRTDH), High-Resolution Transmission Electron Microscope (HRTEM), Polymetallic Nodules (PMN) Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope (FESEM).
On the occasion, an MOU was signed between NRDC and CSIR-IMMT for InTEC project development. The facilities were inaugurated by Union Minister of State (IC) Science & Technology, Earth Sciences, Dr Jitendra Singh.
Director-General of Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Dr Shekhar C Mande; Director, CSIR-IMMT Bhubaneswar, Dr S Basu and other guests were present on the occasion.
Dr Singh visited Mineral Processing Department and expressed happiness over such high-level research team.
