Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Centre has issued thunderstorm with lightning alert for Puri, Khurda, Cuttack, and 8 other Odisha districts till Monday morning.
The other districts likely to experience thunderstorm with lightning are Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Dhenkanal, Angul, Koraput, Rayagada and Kandhamal.
Similar situation is likely to prevail from 8.30 am of June 6 to 8.30 am of June 7 in the districts of Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Angul Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj while the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Rayagada, Kalahandi and Mayurbhanj are likely to experience thunderstorm with lightning from 8.30 am of June 7 for the next 24 hours.
A yellow warning has also been issued for Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam and Kandhamal from June 8 to 8.30 am of June 9.
