Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar on Sunday issued a warning for
thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall with gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph at one or two places over 15 districts in Odisha.
In a release, the Centre asked the people of Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Nuapada, Deogarh, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada, Balasore, Keonjhar, Angul, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Puri and Mayurbhanj districts to remain alert between 2.30 pm and 5.30 pm.
