Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre, in an evening bulletin on Wednesday, said thunderstorm with lightning and light to moderate rainfall with gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph will occur at one or two places over the districts Angul, Cuttack (including Cuttack city), Khurda (including Bhubaneswar city), Jagatsingpur, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Boudh, Sonepur, Balangir, Nuapada, Sundargarh, Balasore, Bargarh, Deogarh, Nayagarh and Ganjam between 7 pm and 10 pm.
The Centre warned people to remain alert during the period.
