Bhubaneswar: Tiger ‘Chinu’ sustained injuries after a fight with another tiger ‘Vikki’ at enclosure No-30 in Nandankanan Zoological Park (NZP) on Tuesday.
According to sources, Vikki attacked Chinu for some unknown reasons, following which he sustained leg injuries. Some visitors spotted the injured tiger and informed the zoo authorities.
Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF) Ashok Kumar Das rushed to the enclosure and brought the injured tiger to the zoo veterinary hospital.
After the treatment, the condition of the tiger is stated to be normal now, though he has been kept under observation.
