Bhubaneswar: Tata Power Central Odisha Distribution Ltd (TPCODL) has launched value added services as a part of its Demand Side Management (DSM) initiatives for its customers in Odisha.
Under the new services, the TPCODL will provide its customers energy-efficient appliances such as air-conditioners and motors at a discount along with extended warranty and doorstep delivery.
The company, a joint venture of Tata Power and the Government of Odisha, also offers subsidised price for installing rooftop solar energy facility to its consumers in residential, group housing society and residential welfare association categories, according to a company release.
Nikunja Bihari Dhal, principal secretary, Energy, M Shenbagam, CEO, TPCODL and senor officers of the company were present at the launching function.
