Berhampur: TP Southern Odisha Distribution Limited (TPSODL), the joint venture between Tata Power and Odisha government for power distribution in southern Odisha, launched a 50-seater Call Centre at Ambagada, Berhampur, on the auspicious occasion of Odia New Year.
The Call Centre is equipped with an integrated Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS), Computer Telephony Integration (CTI) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and manned by a set of highly-trained professionals to take care of all customer grievances.
Toll-free numbers 1800-345-6797/1912 will be available 24×7 throughout the year for a range of services including technical, safety and power supply related complaints, billing, metering and payment related complaints, fire and emergency complaints, knowing complaint status, new connection, attribute changes and theft, harassment or ethical concerns. The toll-free no. can be accessed through mobile or landline and will be beneficial for all the customers.
“We have introduced the Call Centre service as a one-point solution to many grievances. It will help our esteemed customers to get their queries resolved in a short span of time. We will keep on taking steps towards identifying customer pain points and resolve them with new and innovative solutions” said Arvind Singh, CEO of TPSODL.
A Meter Testing Laboratory was also launched at Berhampur for calibration and testing of meters as per Indian standard specification.
