Cuttack: Win or loss matters but at the same time my fight is for our identity and welfare of the kinnar community, said transgender Tanushree Behera. Tanushree filed nomination papers for Corporator from Ward No.38 of Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) on Sunday.
Tanushree, who is contesting as an independent, went to file the nomination with her supporters. Speaking to reporters she said she will work for the welfare of Cuttack people by looking into their issues as one among them and also fight for further uplift of transgenders.
