Trust, Key Factor In Sustaining A Strong Relationship

Trust is the basis of any relationship. Humans always expect people with whom they share a bond to be trustworthy and reliable.

We want to be able to share everything with those who are close to us. We expect their action to be in a positive direction. We also expect them not to disclose the secrets we have shared with them.

Why do we need trust in a relationship? Is it essential to make the relationship trustworthy?

Basically, we people believe that a relationship is true if it is based or trust. We fear that an untrustworthy person can pose a threat to us and may share our private matters with others. This fear of uncertainty digs its root in our belief. Once a relationship comes under doubt, it begins to crumble, breaking a bond.

It is not easy to build a strong relationship. It needs trust, belief, love, care, dedication, and sacrifice. It is not made within a few minutes or with every person. We mingle with a lot of people, study, and slowly begin to trust one or two among them.

Once we are confident that we can trust that person(s) without hesitation, in the next phase, we start sharing our feelings with them. There are times when doubts may arise on either side but if both sides have a positive mindset, such doubts con be overcome through communication for the sake of the relationship.

Some people are very good at making strong relationships while others just don’t have it in them. All human beings have the same amount of neurons in our brains. The great Vivekananda had said that all human beings have equal potential. The difference is how much each one utilises it. Then why is do some people make strong bonds and others don’t? Undoubtedly, the prime factor is a lack of trust or faith.

Everyone cannot trust others easily. In some cases, such people do not have confidence in their own beliefs, so they find it difficult to trust another person. For some, it may stem from an earlier bitter experience of being cheated.

Be that as it may, we should always trust others and nurture a relationship. After all, we are all humans and it is not always possible to judge others. What is more important is to keep a positive mindset for the sake of a healthy relationship.
