Bengaluru-based startup Ultraviolette with investment from TVS, has launched a new electric performance motorcycle called Ultraviolette F77. It comes with a starting price of Rs 3 lakh and has 3 variants.
Deliveries will commence from October 2020. The first 100 units have already been sold out.
It has 25 kW electric motor and 4.2 kWh lithium batteries. The motor has a power output of 33.5PS and 90Nm torque. It can go from 0-100kmph in 7.5 seconds, and the top speed is 147kmph.
It has 3 riding modes – Eco, Sport and Insane!
A fast charger can juice up the battery in just 1.5 hours. A standard charger takes about five hours.
Like other premium electric vehicles, the Ultraviolette has Smart Connect features that lets users find the location of your bike, look for charging points, and ride history and analytics of your last ride.
The Ultraviolette app also lets you diagnose the motorcycle to detect anomalies in real-time, set ride modes, and get instant stats of your vehicle such as estimated battery percentage, and the mileage (km range) it can offer. The app also lets you install OTA updates as and when the company releases them.
