Rourkela: Two girls were killed after being run over by a speeding truck near TCI Chhak under Brahmani Tarang police limits here on Monday.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained.
According to sources, the girls were riding a scooter, which had no registration number plate. They were rushed to Rourkela Government Hospital, where doctors declared them dead.
The driver of the truck fled the spot after the mishap.
