Two More Corona Cases In Bhubaneswar; Know The Details Of 63 New Patients In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Friday released the details of 63 new COVID-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours.

Among the fresh cases, 61 have been detected in quarantine centres, while two are local contacts.

Khurda reported the highest 12 new cases followed by Jagatsinghpur (11), Ganjam (4), Balasore (3), Cuttack (3), Puri (1),  Nayagarh (7), Balangir (6), Sundargarh (2), Mayurbhanj(1), Dhenkanal (9), Sambalpur (1), Koraput (1), Jharsuguda (1) and Nabarangpur (1).

02 cases in Sundargarh

(All in quarantine centres. Maharashtra returnees)

2 cases in Bhubaneswar

(In quarantine centre. 1 Maharashtra and 1 Delhi returnees)

1 case in Puri

(In quarantine centre. Chhattisgarh returnee)

3 cases in Cuttack

(All in quarantine centres. 2 West Bengal and 1 Maharashtra returnees)

9 cases in in Dhenkanal

(All in quarantine centres. Surat returnees)

7 cases in Nayagarh

(All in quarantine centres. 1 West Bengal returnees and 6 Surat returnees)

1 case in Sambalpur

(In quarantine centre. Maharashtra returnee)

4 cases in Ganjam

(All in quarantine centres. Surat returnees)

10 cases in Khurda

( 8 in quarantine centres. 5 Maharashtra, 3 Gujarat returnees & 2 local contact cases)

6 cases in Balangir

(All in quarantine centres. Maharastra returnees)

11 cases in Jagatsinghpur

(All in quarantine centres. 3 West Bengal, 1 Andhra Pradesh,  2 Gujarat, 2 Tamil Nadu, 1 Telangana and 2 Maharastra returnees)

1 case in Jharsuguda

(In quarantine centre. Maharashtra returnee)

3 cases in Balasore

(All in quarantine centres. 1 Maharashtra, 1 West Bengal and 1 Tamil Nadu returnees)

1 case in Mayurbhanj

(In quarantine centre. Tamil Nadu returnee)

01 case in Nabarangpur

(In quarantine centre. Surat returnee)

1 case in Koraput

(In quarantine centre. Andhra Pradesh returnee)

With seven deaths and 887 recoveries, Odisha now has 827 active cases. Two persons have died in Balasore and Khurda districts respectively for reasons other than COVID-19, the Health Department sources said.
