Keonjhar: Two sisters of Raisuan village under Sadar police station limits in Odisha’s Keonjhar district were run over by a speeding vehicle early on Monday morning.
The dead have been identified as Nibedita Das and Pankajini Das. Eyewitnesses said the two sisters were on a morning walk when a speeding vehicle ran them over after hitting them from behind near the Sadar Police station. The vehicle fled after the accident.
Following information, police rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for post-mortem. Efforts are on to trace the vehicle and the driver.
