Bhubaneswar: Minister of Railways, Communications and Electronics & Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw will release commemorative postage stamps and review performance of ECoR during one-day visit to Odisha on Tuesday.
Vaishnaw will release commemorative postage stamps on legendary poets of Odisha and cultural heritage of Western Odisha through video-conferencing from Bhubaneswar at 2.30 pm. Union Minister of Education Dharmendra Pradhan will attend the function at Biju Patnaik Auditorium, Sambalpur University, Burla.
Vaishnaw will also inaugurate 42 branch post offices of Sambalpur, Bargarh, Deogarh, Jharsuguda and Sundargarh divisions.
Later, Vaishnaw will review the performance of East Coast Railway (ECoR) and discuss various issues related to projects, traffic facility works and infrastructure related matters. Then he will attend a local programme in Bhubaneswar and leave for Delhi in the evening.
