Bhubaneswar: Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy on Tuesday said the weekend shutdown will continue in 10 districts (identified as zone-1) with more than 50 active cases, till July 31.
These districts are Ganjam, Gajapati, Khurda, Cuttack, Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar and Jharsuguda.
“In zone-1, the local authorities have been empowered to stop intra-district vehicular movements, close shops and offices depending on the situation,” he said.

The chief secretary further said that the government has requested the Centre not to increase the intensity of train/air movement from hotspot areas to Odisha.
