Bhubaneswar: Vedanta Aluminium has extended its immunisation drive ‘Swarna Prasan’ in Odisha’s Kalahandi district.

“Through our collaboration with the Government of Odisha and the Ministry of AYUSH, we aim to enhance the health and well-being of communities through age-old, traditional practices. The ‘Swarna Prasan’ initiative reflects our dedication to improving child health while respecting community values,” said Sunil Gupta, COO, Vedanta Aluminium, at a function organised to launch extension drive of the scheme in Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Braja Vihar.

“At Vedanta Aluminium, we believe that investing in the well-being and development of children is crucial, and we are eager to witness the positive transformations, shaping future generations,” he added.

Nitin Kumar Tiwari, CEO – Bauxite Mines, Vedanta Aluminium, said, “We had launched this initiative in September benefitting around 1,000 students. More than 3,700 students of 10 schools in the district have already benefited from the programme.
