Bhubaneswar: The mortal remains of veteran Ollywood actor Ajit Das were consigned to flames at Satyanagar crematorium in Bhubaneswar on Monday afternoon while adhering to the COVID-19 guidelines.
His daughter lit the funeral pyre after a Guard of Honour.
Das had tested positive for COVID-19 on September 1. He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the city on Sunday.

Politicians cutting across party lines had mourned the death of the noted actor. Condolences also poured in from the film fraternity.
