Berhampur: Vigilance sleuths on Wednesday caught in-charge principal of Plus II Science Higher Secondary School at Kukudakhandi in Ganjam district red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 15,000.
The Demonstrator in Physics in the school, Basant Kumar Jena, had informed the Vigilance officials that in-charge principal M Tuna Patro was demanding Rs 15,000 to forward his GPF bill and to prepare MACP arrears bill.
The Vigilance sleuths laid a trap and nabbed Patro while accepting the bribe money.
“We have seized the bribe amount and registered a case,” said Vigilance SP, Berhampur.
