New Delhi: Fugitive Indian businessman Vijay Mallya’s son, Siddharth married Jasmine in an intimate ceremony near London on Saturday. The bride shared the first photograph from the wedding on her Instagram stories. The picture shows Jasmine in a white wedding gown, hand in hand with her husband Siddharth Mallya who can be seen wearing his gold wedding band.
Visible in the picture is Jasmine’s stunning diamond ring. “Forever,” she wrote while posting the pic on her Instagram Stories.
Siddharth Mallya had announced his upcoming wedding on Instagram earlier this week. “Wedding week has commenced,” Mallya wrote on Instagram, sharing a picture that shows him posing with his fiancée. The picture shows the bride-to-be in a floral dress, posing against a floral frame with the groom.
The couple had announced their engagement on Halloween last year.
They had also been spotted together on a shopping spree days before their wedding. The ceremony itself was attended by close friends and family members of the bride and groom. Some of the wedding guests had also shared photographs of the customised wedding favours handed out by the happy couple on social media.
Not much is known about the bride Jasmine. According to her Instagram profile, she lives in the US. A Harry Potter fan and a foodie, Jasmine appears to enjoy travelling. The couple together own a Husky, a Beagle, a Golden Retriever and a cat.
Siddharth Mallya recently released a children’s book titled “Sad-Glad”, a picture book about embracing changing emotions in children.
He was born in Los Angeles, California, and was raised in London and the UAE. He attended Wellington College and Queen Mary University of London. He then attended the Royal Central School of Speech.
