New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has denied Chinese intrusion across the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
“Neither has anyone entered our border nor has any of our posts been in the possession of anyone else,” Modi told presidents of different political parties in a virtual all-party meeting the government convened on Friday to discuss the tense border situation with China.
Twenty Indian Army personnel, including a Colonel, were killed by Chinese troops along the LAC in Ladakh’s Galwan Valley on June 15.
Modi stressed that those who dared India have been taught a lesson. “Twenty of our jawans were martyred, but those who dared Bharat Mata were taught a lesson,” the PM said.
“Today, we possess the capability that no one can eye even one inch of our land. India’s armed forces have the capability to move into multiple sectors at one go,” he asserted.
