Rayagada: A passenger train coming from Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh to Bhawanipatna in Odisha’s Kalahandi district derailed on Sunday evening.
As per reports, the engine of the passenger train jumped the tracks near Kothavalasa railway station in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh.
The loco pilot of the train was injured in the mishap. All passengers were stated to be safe as no compartment was damaged due to the derailment of the engine.
