Bhubaneswar: Hours after the clarification by Odisha government that none of the 25 students of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) at Burla in Sambalpur district has tested positive for COVID-19, the Health and Family Welfare Department said the district administration will take a decision to withdraw the containment order.
“As the situation in Burla town is normal, the district administration will take a decision to withdraw the containment order in the town,” Director, Public Health Niranjan Mishra told the media here.
He further said 25 VSSUT students, who had undergone the rapid antigen test earlier and tested COVID-19 positive and later tested negative after the RT-PCR test, are now kept in a special hostel. Besides, the condition one of the students admitted to the VIMSAR is normal.
