[Watch] Bhubaneswar Sports Hostel’s Mina Singh Lifts Gold; Mina Santa Wins Too

Bengaluru: Mina Singh continued her winning form in the Khelo India Youth Women’s Ranking wrestling meets by claiming gold in the Bengaluru event on Friday.

The Bhubaneswar Sports Hostel trainee topped the women’s 45 kg category.

Last month, she had emerged best in the 45 kg competition at the Khelo India Youth Women’s Ranking Patna meet.

Odisha Weightlifting HPC trainee Mina Santa also struck gold in 49 kg category. She had finished on top in the Patna meet too.

Priteesmita Bhoi, another talented Odisha weightlifter, bagged silver in 40 kg category.

Priteesmita, a trainee of HPC Dhenkanal sub-centre, had been adjudged Best Weightlifter in 40 kg youth category at Patna Khelo India Junior Women’s Ranking meet in February.
