Cuttack: With elections to urban local bodies scheduled on March 24, Cuttack DCP Prateek Singh has sought the cooperation of the Silver City’s people for smooth conduct of the polling process.
In a video message, the DCP said Cuttack is a city of brotherhood and appealed people to maintain peace and harmony during the election. He also requested the voters to visit the polling booths, stand in queue for their turn and return soon after casting their vote so as not to crowd the booth.
Stating that police have launched helpline number 112, Singh said in case of any need for assistance on the polling day people can contact the cops on the given number. Help will reach immediately, he added.
Election will be held from 8 am to 5 pm on March 24.
