New Delhi: A major fire erupted at the Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) facility near Hosur in Krishnagiri district of Tamil Nadu on Saturday morning.
The fire is believed to have started in the mobile phone accessories painting unit of the company located in Uddanapalli, near Nagamangalam at around 5.30 am. Following this, thick smoke engulfed the area, and panic spread among the workers and residents. As many as seven fire tenders were deployed to evacuate all employees from the premises. No injuries have been reported so far.
