Mumbai: The trailer of the highly-anticipated Abhishek Bachchan starrer ‘I Want to Talk’ was unveiled by the makers on Tuesday on their official YouTube channel.
The two-minute-thirty-second trailer shared by Rising Sun Films shows Abhishek Bachchan (Arjun) sitting on a couch with a cervical collar while his on-screen daughter (played by Ahilya Bamroo) helps him to speak.
The trailer further shows Arjun’s complex relationship with his daughter from childhood.
On the other hand, Amitabh Bachchan’s ‘Piku’ which was released in 2015, also revolved around the father-daughter relationship.
Both, the Abhishek starrer ‘I Want To Talk’ and Amitabh starrer ‘Piku’ are helmed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by Ronnie Lahiri. Both the movies are set in Bengali families.
Well, with so many similarities between the movies, it seems Abhishek is now trying to follow his father’s footsteps seriously.
Directed by filmmaker Shoojit Sircar, ‘I Want To Talk’ is a unique blend of drama and dark humour.
The film shows Abhishek in an entirely new avatar and also features Pearle Maaney, Johnny Lever, Jayant Kripalani, and Kristin Goddard in pivotal roles.
Produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, ‘I Want To Talk’ is slated to hit theatres on November 22.
