[Watch] Kiara Advani, Kriti Sanon Light Up WPL Opening Ceremony

Navi Mumbai: Kiara Advani and Kriti Sanon lit up the DYN Patil Stadium with electrifying performances during the opening ceremony of Women’s Premier League (WPL) here on Saturday evening.

Kiara, who got married to fellow-Bollywood star Sidharth Malhotra last month, started off the show, dancing to the tune of her hit songs.


Kriti followed with several popular numbers, including a heartfelt performance on ‘Chak De India’.


Popular Punjabi singer and rapper AP Dhillon added to the festive atmosphere with an energetic performance.

The historic inaugural edition of WPL got underway with a double-header, with Gujarat Giants taking on Mumbai Indians at DY Patil Stadium and Royal Challengers Bangalore facing Delhi Capitals at Brabourne Stadium.

UP Warriorz are the fifth team in WPL season 1.

The 5 teams will clash on a double round-robin basis, before the semis (March 24, 25) and final on March 27.
