Noida: A massive fire engulfed two flats of a high-rise apartment within 16th Avenue society of Gaur City in Greater Noida West on Thursday morning.
According to reports, the fire started in one of the units on the second floor of the residential complex. Visuals from the scene showed resident scrambling to safety as thick cloud of smoke billowed into the sky.
Fire tenders soon reached the spot, and brought the blaze under control. There have been no reported casualties. “The reason for the fire is not yet known, fire tenders have reached the spot. Fire has been brought under control,” an official of the Fire Department told the media.
In April 2023, a fire broke out on the ground floor of Tower L of 14th Avenue of Gaur City 2. A fire was also reported at an apartment in a high-rise residential society in Gaur City 2 area on Diwali evening in 2022.
