New Delhi: Intense fear gripped passengers on a Delhi-Srinagar IndiGo flight as the aircraft encountered severe turbulence during its journey amid heavy rain on Monday evening.
A video of the flight showed passengers clutching onto their seats as the flight continued to shake. The flight landed almost half an hour late in Srinagar. “IndiGo flight 6E6125 from Delhi to Srinagar faced severe turbulent weather en route. The crew followed all operational protocols and the flight landed safely in Srinagar,” the airline said in a statement issued on Tuesday.
“We regret the inconvenience caused to passengers due to the inclement weather,” it added.
