Rome: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday interacted with Non Resident Odias (NROs) based in Europe at Hotel Hassler Roma in Rome, Italy.
A good number of Odisha natives settled in Europe gathered at the posh hotel in Italy’s capital city and listened to Naveen highlighting Odisha’s achievements in recent years. Naveen’s private secretary V K Pandian, who is also the secretary, transformation and initiatives, spoke at length about the eastern state’s successful food security model and how the state has traversed the path of food shortage to becoming a food surplus region.
Naveen met Odias based in 12 countries across Europe. Besides Pandian, Resident Commissioner Ravi Kant was present at the event,
