Cuttack: An eight-member team of the Odisha Wildlife Special Task Force (STF) exhumed the skeletal remains of an elephant in Chandragiri forest Badamba forest range in Odisha’s Cuttack district on Thursday.
Following information about an elephant being killed and buried in Chandragiri forest, the team led by SP Bilasini Nayak reached the spot and identified two pits. One of those places was dug using a JCB machine and the dead elephant was found buried there.
Badamba Ranger Suresh Kumar Sarangi and BVO Madhusudan Das were also present.
