Mumbai: Shilpa Shetty performed puja at home on the occasion of Navaratri. Nothing unusual there.
What has caught the attention of many is the fact that her husband Raj Kundra is not to be seen.
The Bollywood actress took to Instagram to share a video where she is seen performing puja with son Viaan, daughter Samisha and others. Raj, however, is conspicuous by his absence. The businessman is out on bail in the porn films case.
Shilpa, Viaan and Samisha, all in orange outfits, are seen to be deeply involved in the puja. Shilpa and Viaan chant prayers, as little Samisha joins them.
“My #MondayMotivation… my kids and faith Some things can’t just be passed down to the next generation without them witnessing us doing it. It’s important to me that my kids grow up with the same values and traditions that our parents inculcated in us. Sowing the seeds of faith in both of them from a young age was something I always intended doing… because I know that faith grows stronger and becomes a lot more deep-rooted as we grow older & helps us experience life in all its glory surrendering to the almighty. Bliss Happy Monday to all of you!” Shilpa wrote along with the video.
Shilpa has shared glimpses of her children and work on social media, but nothing about her husband since he got bail. Shilpa did post a statement requesting for privacy from the media and fans.
Raj, who was arrested on July 19 for allegedly producing and circulating pornographic content, spent over two months in jail before finally being granted bail last month.
In her statement to police, Shilpa stated she was too busy with her work, and wasn’t aware of what Raj was up to.
Shilpa was even reported to be contemplating moving out of Raj Kundra’s house to live separately.
