Indore: Actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar is also an accomplished singer, and performs shows in India and across the world.
However, a mishap hit the venue ahead of his latest concert in Indore.
Farhan was scheduled to perform live at the Sushila Devi Bansal College fest on April 5, but the stage erected for his show came crashing down hours before he took the stage.
A dust storm, which generated strong gusts of wind, took the structure down, as seen in videos shared online.
As the elevated stage collapses, the lights and other fixtures are knocked over and a part of the scaffolding collides into the campus building.
“Gaya, gaya, gaya (It’s falling),” one person is heard screaming as the stage starts to give way.
A bunch of people are seen rushing towards the collapsed structure to check if anyone was caught under the rubble.

Farhan gained recognition as a musician after starring in the 2008 hit film ‘Rock On!!’ and its 2016 sequel ‘Rock On 2’. His last gig was at the Vh1 Supersonic Festival in February, in Pune.
