New Delhi: Bollywood stars are often asked uncomfortable questions about their private life in public interactions. This one, however, took the cake. Vicky Kaushal is busy with the promotions of his latest film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. At the trailer launch of the comedy-drama on Monday, the actor interacted with the media and answered a bunch of questions about his professional and personal milestones. Needless to say, there were a bunch of quirky and hilarious questions. One such question went like this – “Hamare desh mei shaadi janmo janmo ka bandhan hai. Kya apko lagta hain yeh sahi hain ya aap divorce karke dusri shaadi karenge agar Katrina Kaif se koi achi dulhan milti hain toh? [In our country, marriage is a relationship that is believed to last several lifetimes. Do you subscribe to this view or will you divorce Katrina Kaif if you find a better match]”
As soon as the question was asked, Sara Ali Khan’s jaw dropped and Vicky Kaushal too had an equally flummoxed expression. Laughing, the actor replied, “Shaam ko ghar bhi jaana hain. Aise tedhe-medhe sawaal pooch rahe ho. Baccha hoon, abhi bada toh ho lene do. Kaise jawaab doon iska main? Itna Khatarnaak sawaal poocha hain! Sir, janmo-janmo tak. [I have to go home in the evening and you are asking such twisted questions. I am still a child. Let me grow a little. How do I answer this? Such a dangerous question. Sir, for several lifetimes].”
In the same interaction, Vicky also shared another fun anecdote from his life with Katrina. He said, “We have a lot of discussions about furniture at home. For example, Madam (Katrina) wants to have a bar at home. She sent me the bar she is thinking of buying. I saw that and thought, ‘Ye bohot mehenge hai, main he tray leke kahada ho jauga but ye nahi aayega’ (This is too expensive. I’d rather stand with a tray myself than buy this). This is worth my signing amount! So, I said, no, this can’t happen.”
