Bhubaneswar: Evergreen actress Rekha and Bollywood bachelor Salman Khan are undoubtedly the most sought-after celebrities in tinsel town.
While both celebs have a past filled with controversial love stories, their liking for each other has never been a clandestine affair for their fans.
In one of the episodes of Bigg Boss 8, Rekha revealed that Salman had a crush on her and wanted to marry her and this is the reason why she is still single.
“I used to go on a walk in the morning and he used to be so little, must 6-7 years old, he used to cycle. I used to walk ahead and he used to follow me,” she said.
“Unko malum hee nahin tha ki uss waqt inko mujhse ishq ho gaya tha (He did not know at the time but he had fallen in love with me). It’s true because he went back and told his people in the house that I want to marry that girl when I grow up,” she added.
To this, Salman agreed and said, “Kaafi laga tha mujhe, shayad isliye meri shaadi nahi hui (I felt it, perhaps that is why I didn’t get married).”
“Ab yeh boliye ki isliye maine shadi nahi ki,” joked Rekha.
Rekha’s liking for Amitabh Bachchan and Salman’s controversial affair with Aishwarya Rai never fails to grab the headlines even today.
However, both Rekha and Salman are happily single and successful in their respective lives.
