Xiaomi has sold over 7 lakh units of its flagship Poco F1 since its launch last year. While a successor is expected to come sometime this year, the F1 has reportedly developed a touchscreen problem after a recent software update (MIUI 10.3.5.0).
There are reports that the issue can’t be fixed with an over-the-air update and so the company is recalling the affected devices to analyse.
Poco’s head Alvin Tse sent a tweet that the company is analysing devices that have developed screen freezing, ghost touch and touch lags after the update.
#Are You Troubled Too?
If you are facing any one of the above issues, you can make a video of it and send it to Poco along with your user ID and contact info.
It’s not confirmed if Xiaomi will be replacing the affected devices or not.
To recap, the Poco F1 features a 6.18-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB/8GB RAM, up to 256GB storage, 12-MP + 5-MP dual rear camera, 20-MP selfie camera and a 4000mAh battery. The prices start at Rs 17999.
