Bhubaneswar: A day after declaring him dead, Wikipedia on Friday rectified the misinformation about veteran Odia actor Mihir Das.
The Ollywood fraternity was miffed with the free online encyclopedia, on Thursday, after it mentioned that the actor died on December 14, 2021, due to kidney failure, while he was still undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Cuttack.
Earlier speaking to the media, general secretary of Odisha Cine Artistes Association Sritam Das said that the actor’s family or the association should have been contacted before publishing such information. “The page does not even provide correct information about actors’ birthday,” he added.
